Why there is a boundary
Not because we are hiding something. But because knowledge that has not been tested in practice does not work.
We could write the methodology of Mycelium on this page. But if a person reads it without practicing it, they will not develop ability. They will know the words, but not how to use them.
That is why the boundary is not between "public" and "secret". It is between information and practice.
What is needed to sustain the values
A sustainable community is not a place. It is an ability that is practiced.
Skills
The ability to apply this knowledge in everyday life.
Habits
Behaviour that has become automatic.
Ability
What remains when there is pressure.
Without these four, a community is an idea. With them, it is a reality.
How the boundary is crossed
